Your involvement as a community collection location is a vital contribution to fulfilling our goal of supplying 1000 school-aged children with NEW tennis shoes for the 2010 school year. Every child deserves the opportunity to start the year off on the right foot!  Fairytale Wishes will have the opportunity to bring together dozens of volunteers to distribute NEW shoes to children from low income families and single-parent homes.  On August 15th we will be partnering with the Revolutionary Love Event, at Grove City Church of Nazarene, where we will  not only provide new shoes for children, more importantly, we will have the opportunity to represent God’s love in our community. We are looking for group leaders who interested in placing collection boxes in their business, church, school or organization.

HOW TO BE A TEAM LEADER:

• Ask friends, family, co-workers, church groups and schools to help reach your team goal.
• Please encourage donations of NEW TENNIS shoes in BOYS AND GIRLS children’s sizes 1-13 and youth sizes 2-9. We have children in all grades, kindergarten through seniors in high school; we would love to distribute shoes to as many students as possible.
• Arrange to locate your collection box in an easily accessible and viewable location. The more people who see your efforts, the better response you will have! Examples would be; church lobby, work/staff lounge rooms and school lobbies.
• Place your Event Poster in a highly visible area, for all to see!
• As a team captain, Fairytale Wishes will supply you with donation boxes. As you fill your boxes, please contact us and we will arrange to pick them up for you. If your team needs additional boxes we will gladly supply you with more.
• Our event is now underway and collections will continue through July 15th. During the month of August, volunteers will deliver all shoes to children from lower income families and/or single-parent homes.

Renee Rose and Julie Pashovich, co-founders of Fairytale Wishes, have been invited to be guests on an internet radio show on www.toginet.com called “Believe in Your Fairytale and Your Zing will come True!”. Hosts, Dhana Cohen and Debbie Glickman, use their show to encourage others to get out and make their dreams happen.
